Alpenfest

Oregon's Little Switzerland. Polka music and Yodeling, Alphorns, Bratwurst, Beer and Wine.  Oregon's Alpenfest is a fun-filled four-day celebration of Swiss and Bavarian culture, cuisine and liquid refreshment in Wallowa County, Oregon's Little Switzerland.  Enterprise, Joseph and Wallowa Lake host polka music, folk dancing, alphorn blowing and Swiss yodeling plus consumption of Joseph Trading Post bratwurst, the official sausage of Alpenfest; Terminal Gravity Vienna-style Alpenfest ale; and Lathrop Country Wines Polka-Up Wein, a dry-style Riesling.   Today's events include Breakfast at Edelweiss Inn from 8-11am,  The Polkatones will play, Lisa Ward  & Tirolean Dancers will perform 11am-2pm.
