Read N' Feed

Slow Food Wallowas announces a new book-supper club, Read N’ Feed.  Everyone is welcome to the first potluck gathering at Fishtrap’s Coffin House on Wednesday, June 12^th at 6 p.m. There is no fee to attend and donations will be accepted.
 
Read N’ Feed is a community-wide reading group sparking conversations about global food topics while enjoying the priceless pleasures of food and community.
 
The first book selected is Slow Food Nation by Carlo Petrini. In a rebuttal to the best-selling book, Fast Food Nation, the charismatic leader of the Slow Food movement makes a case for why food must be sustainably produced, why those who produce the food must be fairly treated, and why the food must be healthful and delicious.
