Economic Development Specialist
The Northeast Oregon Economic Development District is seeking a new team member to support internal operations, external communications, small businesses & entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and local government organizations in Baker, Union and Wallowa counties.
This job will provide opportunities to develop new skills and participate in trainings and conferences. We are looking for candidates who enjoy variety in their work, have great communication and organization skills, and who will create and maintain positive relationships with community members, partners and clients.

Salary & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried position. The starting salary will be between $54,000 – $65,000/year depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include 14 paid holidays, vacation, sick leave and medical/dental/vision insurance. The job is non-exempt and hours worked over 40 in a week will receive compensatory time off at a rate of 1.5 times the amount of time worked over 40 hours.
