Wallowa County Grain Growers, a member-owned agricultural cooperative proudly serving our community since 1944, is seeking a results-driven General Manager to lead our Energy, Heating and Cooling, Agronomy, Seed, Feed and Retail departments into the future. This is a unique opportunity to guide a well-established cooperative with deep local roots while shaping the next chapter of growth, performance, and community impact. This executive leadership role reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for driving strategic growth, operational performance, and financial sustainability across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Provide overall leadership and operational direction
• Guide long-range planning and new business initiatives
• Strengthen financial oversight, budgeting, and reporting
• Champion safety, compliance, and organizational effectiveness
• Lead and develop a high-performing management team with a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent proven leadership experience
• 8–10 years of operational leadership experience
• Strong business management, financial acumen, and strategic planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive results, and manage organizational change
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company insurability requirements
• Must pass criminal history screening and drug testing

Work Environment & Travel

This position is based in Enterprise, Oregon and operates primarily in a professional office setting, with frequent travel between WCGG locations using a company vehicle. Some overnight and weekend work may be required. EOE.
