About Us

By horseback or by foot, we provide Backcountry Logistics for exploring the Eagle Caps, Elkhorns or many areas of the Wallowa Whitman National Forest. We provide day rides, summer pack trips, hunting and various horse based activities in these areas.
We also provide horse-based activities for Minam River Lodge guests. We offer various hunting options and meat packing. 2026 will see some great summer pack trips including our "Perseid Meteor Shower" trip, the "Better Lakes" trip and the "Minam Lodge Adventure Trip". We're also offering a "DIY" Elk hunt. - an ala cart hunt that will appeal to those hunters who are cost-conscious, don't need much in the way of gear or plan on carrying their own gear out.
